① When paying the screening fee, admission fee, and tuition, please make the transfer under the student’s own name.
② Regular students must pay one year of tuition and related fees in a lump sum when the Certificate of Eligibility is issued.
③ For overseas remittances, the sender is responsible for all bank transfer fees.
④ The application screening fee (¥22,000) must be paid when the application documents are accepted.
納付金の扱い
① The application screening fee is non-refundable for any reason.
② If the Certificate of Eligibility is not issued, all paid fees except the application screening fee will be refunded.
③ If the Certificate of Eligibility is issued but the applicant does not apply for a visa and does not come to Japan, all paid fees except the application screening fee and admission fee will be refunded. The admission permit and Certificate of Eligibility must be returned.
④ If the visa application is rejected at a Japanese diplomatic mission abroad and the applicant cannot come to Japan, all paid fees except the application screening fee and admission fee will be refunded. The admission permit must be returned, and confirmation that the visa was not issued is required.
⑤ If the applicant obtains a visa but withdraws before departure, all paid fees except the application screening fee and admission fee will be refunded after visa invalidation is confirmed. The admission permit must be returned.
⑥ If a student comes to Japan after obtaining a visa and later withdraws, the application screening fee and admission fee will not be refunded. Tuition and facility-related fees are also generally non-refundable.
⑦ If a student obtains a visa and comes to Japan but does not enroll, the handling of fees will follow item ⑥ above.
⑧ Applications may not be accepted if documents are incomplete or not submitted by the deadline.
