Student support information at Nagoya Academy of Education, including health insurance, school bicycle insurance, commuting insurance, and part-time work rules. | National Health Insurance |
|---|
| International students staying in Japan for more than three months are required to enroll in National Health Insurance. When you visit a medical institution for illness or injury, presenting your health insurance card reduces your out-of-pocket medical expenses. After arriving in Japan, please complete resident registration and the insurance enrollment procedure at your local municipal office as soon as possible. Insurance premiums must be paid by the due date. | | School Group Bicycle Insurance / Commuting Insurance |
|---|
| Nagoya Academy of Education provides school group bicycle insurance and commuting insurance so students can attend school safely. This helps prepare for traffic accidents while commuting, bicycle accidents, and unexpected accidents during school activities. Students who use bicycles must follow traffic rules and ride safely. | | Permission for Part-time Work |
|---|
| International students must obtain permission from the Immigration Services Agency before doing part-time work. Working without permission is not allowed. During regular class periods, part-time work is limited to 28 hours per week. During long school vacations, work may be permitted up to 8 hours per day. Work in adult entertainment-related businesses such as pachinko parlors, mahjong parlors, and entertainment restaurants is prohibited. Please give priority to study and follow Japanese law and school rules. |
